General Information

Welcome to the Southern Alameda County Buddhist Church Japanese Language School Returning Student Application. Please complete one application per currently enrolled student (there will be an option to easily re-enroll another current JLS student upon submitting the first). A $100 cancellation fee will be deducted from the previous year’s co-op deposit if the enrollment is cancelled before the first day of school.

Returning students whom register before May 09, 2025 will be given priority enrollment and waives the $20 Re-enrollment Fee. Returning students whom register after May 09, 2025 will be required to pay the $20 Re-enrollment Fee at time of application submission.

Once student admission is confirmed, you will receive an email during the month of August with guidelines for completing your child’s registration on the first day of the new school year.

Tuition

School fees are affected by several factors and are subject to change before the start of the 2025-2026 school year. All annual fees are due on August 23, 2025 (first day of school).

2025 - 2026 Fee Schedule (subject to change prior to first day of school)

• Annual Southern Alameda County Buddhist Church Membership (Non-church member): $230.00 per student / $300.00 per family
• Monthly Pledge/Tuition (10 months**): $100.00 per student / $80.00 each additional student
• Monthly High School Language Credit for Fremont Unified School District Only (Optional; 10 months): $100.00 per student
• Annual Family Co-Op participation deposit: $300.00 per family (minus any rollover from previous year)
• Annual School Supplies & Church Activity Donation: $35 per family
• Course Book & Material Fees: Collected as needed

** Annual Pledge Payment recieves 5% discount (on tuition) if fully paid on August 23, 2025 (first day of school)
